On January 16, at 7pm, Mro New Year’s Eve was opened with traditional dances at Htet Myat Hle IDP camp in Ponnagyun township of Rakhine State.
The New Year Day was celebrated at Van Pui village and Wartaung IDP camp.
The event was cancelled for two years due to wars and Covid and resumed this year.
