Ethereum has surpassed the milestone of 1 million active validators on its network, a significant achievement in the transition to Proof of Stake (PoS).
Validators play a crucial role in securing the network by validating transactions and adding them to the blockchain in exchange for rewards.
The rapid growth in the number of validators reflects strong confidence in Ethereum’s PoS model, particularly following the successful completion of the “Merge,” which fully transitioned Ethereum from Proof of Work (PoW) to PoS.
